The small pocket of land between the farm and the sea. Close up things are wild, complicated and majestic ~ a balance of thick strong old tree trunks linking around each other, low to the ground and thin limbs, like loose threads, aiming higher but not reaching that far.
The curve of the path lit up, a marshmallow of golden light, sheltered by the family of similarly shaped shrubs standing together in a portrait, connecting the seemingly solid earth beneath the track to the loose sandy grounds on the other side.

This piece is part of the ‘Quilted’ exhibition at the Lon Retreat in Point Lonsdale Victoria.
The exhibition runs until July 3, 2022.

Collect from the Lon
You are welcome to collect the work from the Lon Retreat ~ 25 Gill Road, Point Lonsdale, Victoria on the 4th of July by arrangement with the team at the Lon.I will forward your contact details {entered at the checkout} on to the Lon staff.
Collect from Melbourne studio:
If you’d like to collect your piece from the studio in Melbourne, you are welcome to do so by arrangement in the week following July 4, 2022.
Shipping:
Shipping will be invoiced separately. Costs will depend on your location and preferred service.
If you are outside Australia it’s possible to have the larger works unframed and unstretched and sent as a rolled canvas for more economical shipping.
